With seven years passing since the release of its predecessor on mobile, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords will finally follow suit. On December 18, the 2004 Obsidian Entertainment-developed RPG will be available on both the App Store and Google Play Store.
Like its Mac counterpart, the port will be carried out by Aspyr Media, which has also released a trailer revealing it will be optimized for these wireless platforms. The game will wield a $14.99 price tag and is currently available for pre-order for iOS and Android.
The single-player adventure is set five years after the original and held some of the same unique concepts – like having the option to have the main character be either a Jedi or Sith. In addition, users will most likely still be able to spend at least 50 hours exploring its many planets and quests.
Despite its age, the game has been a major request from mobile fans for awhile now. Their dedication to the franchise is still very much alive, too. According to Sensor Tower, the first entry still ranks in the top 50 paid games in the App Store.
