The leaves are turning from green to orange, yellow, and various reds, and the nights are becoming darker and colder, ushering in Autumn. Pokémon Go is celebrating that seasonal change with an exclusive event that takes place from October 9 at 8 AM and ends on October 12 at 1 PM in your local time. The Autumn event will have various spawns of Pokémon, berry bonuses, Vulpix’s shiny form will be available, and a new Pokémon, Deerling, makes its debut.
Everything about the Autumn event
Berry Bonuses
Berries will have double the effects during this event, which means your buddy gives you twice as much candy while you walk them, and earn twice as much candy when capturing a Pokémon. Photo discs are also dropping twice as many berries from Poké Stops and Gyms, so make sure to visit them while you’re out exploring and participating in the event.
Pokémon Spawns
Autumn-themed Pokémon will be spawning more often as you explore the world. Here are all of the Pokémon you can expect to see more frequently. Vulpix’s shiny form will be available, so try to capture it and see if you can add its new appearance to your collection.
- Bayleef
- Deerling
- Foongus
- Hoothoot
- Oddish
- Pineco
- Plant Cloak Burmy
- Seedot
- Shroomish
- Sudowoodo
- Vulpix
- Yanma
- Zigzagoon
These Pokémon will also be available in 5-kilometer eggs.
Deerling has arrived
Deerling, the deer-like Pokémon, is making its debut during this event. Deerling has four different appearances for each season, and its Autumn look is happening for this event. Future seasonal events will likely introduce its Winter, Spring, and Summer appearances. With enough candy, you will be able to evolve it into Sawsbuck.
